Do i need to do a repair to fix light showing in cockpit?

With the Mig-21 the landing lights when on illuminate the cockpit and the harrier's dome light still does the same thing..do i need to run a client repair (thought it was getting fixed next patch some time ago) little confused that is all.

 

Will running a repair if that's the case cause my settings/bindings to be replaced to default.

Repair won't touch your game settings and control assignments, because they're not stored in main game folder.

 

They won't fix the light either, though, as this is the game engine bug, which hasn't been addressed in latest patch yet.
