Legs Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 Hello everyone, I have noticed an odd issue with entering coordinates into the UFC on the WYPT page. Sometimes it will take the N/S input that i punch in and sometimes it wont. Other times, the East input will not register so i cannot input the corresponding coordinate for that direction. Has anyone noticed this issue or is there something i am missing? Thanks in advance. LEGS - JTF-13
FistofZen Posted June 8, 2018 Posted June 8, 2018 Do you have a track of that flight or can you recreate it and send the track file? I have done coordinates input and it worked flawlessly. Am I special?
Legs Posted June 8, 2018 Author Posted June 8, 2018 I went into another mission and it seemed to work fine after that. Must've been the mission that i was using. LEGS - JTF-13
delevero Posted June 8, 2018 Posted June 8, 2018 I notised yesterday that when you program a waypoint hen ONLY use the top left and right MDF screens, DO NOT use the lower MDF behind the joystick. I notised that the lower MDF when programming you cannot change inbetween waypoints... ( however when you use the top left and right, and program manual waypoints then when you change waypoint it also change on lower mdf, so there is a bug of some kind ).

Kept clicking to change WP# and it would stay at 0. Switched HSI to Right DDI and its on WP5 (I'm assuming the clicks changed the waypoint, just not on the lower screen, and showed when I switched screens.) Bug/WIP.
VKing Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 (edited) You're trying to enter coordinates in degrees and decimal minutes into an interface that takes degrees, minutes, and seconds. It doesn't accept the entry because you entered 86 seconds, which doesn't make sense since a minute is 60 seconds. E: To convert you need to multiply the decimal fraction by 60 to get the amount of seconds, so in your video, you would multiply .863 minutes * 60 = 51.78 seconds. So to enter the coordinate in the video, you would type 24°24'52''N, 55°17'35''E. Edited June 14, 2018 by VKing
