Spiceman Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 Has anyone reported yet that the HSI symbology (only the non-static symbology) is extremely dim (stuck on night setting?) after a cold start? Works fine during an air start. FistofZen Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 stuck on night settings? We have a different problem, the static HSI symbols don't want to change when switching to night mode, they stay in day mode and very bright in the darkness. Day and night mode seem to be bugged with HSI. Am I special?
Jack McCoy Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 This is probably related to a bug with the dimming. After the last patch, dimming only affects vector objects (lines) while text (fonts) are left full bright along with the colored map. i7-7700K@4.8GHz, 16Gb-3200, GTX-1080Ti-Strix-11Gb, Maximus IX Hero, Oculus Rift, Thrustmaster Warthog+F/A-18C, Logitech G940 Pedals.
-Painter- Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 Use the night/day switch above the upper-left corner of your centre MFD. Not sure if that is correct, but it does switch the non-static objects brightness in your HSI (e.g. course-line). The static objects are always day-bright yet (unfortunatly).
