muehlema Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 Hi I am unsure if this is not implemented yet or a bug. In fact on the RWR I can see a Mig 29 being shows as 29. But if I recall right my memory a Mig 21 should be showing as 21. Unfortunately the Hornet RWR is not showing the Mig 21 nor a Mig 23. They must be the new stealth weapon ;) AWACS does see the pop up groups. razo+r Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 We need more informations about where the MiG-21 was pointing it's nose. Regardless if the AWACS sees them or not, if the MiG-21 isn't pointing at you you won't see it on the RWR. 21 on the RWR seems to be implemented:
muehlema Posted June 11, 2018 Author Posted June 11, 2018 AWACS reported the Mig 29 as hot, escorting the Mig 23. And the Mig 21 was reported as flanking. razo+r Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 That's not a lot of informations :) So you can assume that if the MiG-21 was flanking, that you weren't in it's radar cone so then you didn't get a RWR spike of it. Same goes with the MiG-23. While the 29 were escorting it, it doesn't have to be that they were looking at you and thus you might didn't get an RWR spike. By the way, are you 100% sure they were MiG-23s and not MiG-27s? Escorting fighters seems a bit bizarre to me.

SU24M not Mig23 ;) You can download the mission here https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3300827/ You can try it out for free ;) X-Plane 11.5x / DCS 2.5.6 / P3Dv5 / Aerofly FS 2 / War Thunder Win10-x64 | ASUS Z390 Maximus VI | Intel i7-9700K @3.6GHz | Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB DDR4 | 6TB SSD Samsung 850 Pro | 2TB M2 PCI 4x | ASUS GTX 1080 ROG STRIX 8GB DDR5X | TM Hotas Warthog | Saitek Combat Pedals | Oculus Rift S
