Banzaiib Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 I sure would love the Shrike. It's basically an A-G sparrow... and that'd give the Hornet way more "to do". I can understand why the HARM and GBU's were left out, as you have to be able to program them via the UFC (laser codes, etc), and I'm sure that code wasn't written at the time of EA release. But what do you have to do to fire a shrike, other than point it at the offending radar? tl;dr looking forward to some sead capability and whatever comes in the update on wednesday
QuiGon Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 Why is this a wishlist thread? ED has already said they will implement the Shrike (and the HARM) for the Hornet: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3285514&postcount=13 Although I have never heard of a Shrike beeing used with the F/A-18C  Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
Papa Spardy Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 The hornet never used the shrike. Plus id rather wait and get the far superior harm. The 88 was a game changer

The 88 was a game changer That's why I wonder why it is getting implemented for the DCS F/A-18C.
