If you set up some settings for a group of ground units (maybe aerial as well, haven't checked) such as; "Player Can Drive Vehicle", "Disperse Under Fire..." etc. and the "Late Activation" box is checked, these settings seem to take NO effect once that group is activated. If the "Late Activation" box is unchecked it works just fine. It's like when activated all settings are set back to default.

 

 

NOTE: I've posted the same thing in the bugs & problems section. Not sure whether to post this issue here or there.

As a workaround, try GROUP STOP and GROUP RESUME or GROUP AI OFF/ON for late activated units that you need to be player controllable?

Not sure exactly what you're going for but that might do the trick. I haven't encountered this issue myself but this is pretty specific.

For all WP0 advanced waypoint actions, you might try AI TASK PUSH as a workaround.
