All my throttle assignements VANISHED into thin air.

Jumped in the hornet and couldn't get nothing to work. Looked in my controls menu and nothing is there anymore. I now have to remap the whole *** thing.

Profiling software i.e. target or saitek? These redefine your stick/throttle as a different device when enabled.

I haven't used the Saitek (X-55) software. I assigned everything thru the game.

This happens to me every so often. Most recently, I lost all stick assignments across all of my modules. It's been happening on and off for years.

 

My workaround is to have the profiles saved, so when it does happen, you just need to open your saved profile.

 

You'll need to save a profile for your stick, throttle, and pedals - 1 for each, and for each module. It's a bit of work initially, but will save you alot of headache later.

 

To save a profile, go into controller settings for the desired module, select anywhere within the column for the desired peripheral, and click save profile at the top. Choose a name/location, and do it for each peripheral (stick, throttle, pedals, even mouse/keyboard if you want). Do this for each module.

 

Then, if / when it dumps, just select again within the column and choose load profile, and load the file again.
