markturner1960 Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 Hi, DCS just updated and now I dont have any brakes function on my rudder pedals....It's correctly mapped, ( I have checked) and the rudder pedals are working fine, rudder functions as it should, ( I think... in external view when I use rudder, the rudder flaps move, but not a huge amount and the jet does crab to each side a little....)just I press on the brakes and dont slow down at all..... any ideas? Greyman Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 make sure you have the brake axes set to invert. otherwise pressing them is effectively taking them off, which won't work too well. To prove this, before you mess around with the settings, it'd possibly be worth not touching the brakes when you land and seeing if the aircraft stops more quickly than if you had been pressing the pedals.
markturner1960 Posted June 14, 2018 Author Posted June 14, 2018 Thanks, it was the invert axis thing that did it...! Why is this not in any of the guides or set up instructions I wonder?
