Gift a module to someone when I already own it

I have the F/A-18 Hornet. I want to but it for a friend. But when I log int with my account it says I already own it and can't buy it. Creating a new account just to buy it for a friend would mean I can't use my bonus bucks. So is it possible to buy a module you already own and gift it?
