I was just familiarizing myself with simple joys of CV ops when I noticed AI Hornet being pushed back into his spot. Any commends to initiate this action for players?

Also, I mentioned in some other thread that I had to work hard to pick up visual cues for line up when crossing the wake... not anymore. I remembered someone here mentioning 127.5 freq. It worked wonders. Once I contacted that channel (I guess that's a land/launch chan.) I was able to see the drop lights, centerline and the landing area very clear in my Rift set.

Now... the voice comms with boat's tower are comical so they would do a lot better just keeping their traps shut:noexpression: BTW, wouldn't that be nice if we could just stay on the channel and follow pre-set push times, deck light signals or some other "exaggerated" visual cues we could up from overhead holding stack. If not developers themselves, I'm sure there are plenty of modders that sooner or later could come up with USN CV ops options and comms.

Question for VR simmers: Is there any way to record a vid clip that doesn't look like a phone vid recording?

Here are very short excerpts from my fam1 class: no comments on my "short" in the groove approach https://youtu.be/NW1re_R5hhU

+1 on the pushback, but I guess that stuff will come with the parking logic.

As for changing the ATC, there’s a hell of a lot more work goes on behind the magic curtain to get what you hear the ATC saying now to work. I can only imagine how much effort it’s taking ED to overhaul the ATC.

Finally, for the video recording, not that I know of. The excellent DCS Updater utility has an option to output a better view, but I don’t know if recoding software would pick up on it or not...

You guys didn't know about the carrier module? It's coming, when I don't know, but it is happening. Personally, I can't wait but everything that everyone is asking for on the Stennis will be on that module I'd assume. From what I'm told you'll be able to walk around the hanger deck, the bridge, air boss deck, LSO and a crapton of other stuff like using the elevators and it'll be much more detailed. Someone that is more informed is welcome to chime in and correct me if I'm wrong on any of that.

Hi Gripes!

To record nice videos just play in VR as you normally would then save your mission track after you finish. Then go to settings and uncheck VR under the VR tab and relaunch DCS in normal 2d mode and run your track (Replay)and record away!
