Purchase/Sub older versions of 3DS Max.

Is it possible to purchase/subscribe to an old/er version of 3D Studio Max, specifically 2016?

 

Scouring through Autodesk's site I'm coming up blank, if they do offer this in some form then I am assuming they're deliberately obfuscating the process, or you can save in 2016 format/feature set, else I missed something obvious.

In persevering with attempting to answer the above question, I found the following which took me to a 404 not found portion of Autodesks' labyrinthine website;

You are eligible to download previous versions of a product depending on what type of plan you have:

• Subscription - See which products are available from the Available Previous Releases for Subscribers. Available Previous Releases for Subscribers
  

 

I've included the dead link for completeness and incase it works for others, though it's a server-side error that shows so I doubt it.

 

So my question stands but now also includes this second question;

• If you own, or purchased a licence from 2018 for 3DStudio Max, is the option to download and install 2016 open to you?

That was the page I was after, thank you, I'd almost found a route to it that was unfortunately broken by a dead link. I'll report this to Autodesk**.

As of this post, for the curious, the following versions were available for download to a subscriber w/ a 3D Studio Max 2019 licence;

 

• Autodesk® 3DS Max 2018
  
• Autodesk® 3DS Max 2017
  
• Autodesk® 3DS Max 2016
  
• Autodesk® 3DS Max 2018 with Softimage**
  
• Autodesk® 3DS Max 2017 with Softimage**
  
• Autodesk® 3DS Max 2016 with Softimage**
  
• Autodesk® 3DS Max Design 2015
  
• Autodesk® 3DS Max Design 2014
  

 

** Available as a previous version only to Autodesk 3ds Max subscriptions switched from maintenance plan seats for Autodesk 3ds Max with Softimage.

AD reps feel free to correct me, but Subscription is the only way to get a 2016 license now if you don't already have a maintenance plan active which allows you to request a Previous Versions license via your AD Account page.
