I’m going with you aren’t announcing your position like you’re flying a C172 in the pattern at your favorite uncontrolled airfield.

Lex I think mentioned you'd keep all radio traffic minimum. You'd be passing the break then if and only if cleared to enter the pattern you'd be told so. I think the rest is visual till the groove, where you are then controlled by white shirts and then if you miss, you are then drawn back to the port side stack pattern. Of course I could be mistaken. I highly recommend you watch his channel. Lex Leonis. He also is on discord for discussions you could ask him there.

AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

The calls are a little different when training at the boat in a t-45, you don't normally call paddles on the downwind 180 like in the training video.

Good video below by the 113, basic LSO run down at the 4:20 mark

Then you can RTFM for more info:D

This is exactly what I do when I am flying MP and there is noone acting as Tower. It's all I know and good practice for GA flying plus in those situations- it is uncontrolled.

When doing Case I recoveries I do throw in a ball call at the groove - to try to get that cadence down as well though.

I love ziplip! I hate chatting when flying... the sim:D Especially in case I recoveries (combat not training or quals) That big "toilet bowl" above the boat get flushed... Everything comes together without saying a word. It's amazing.

Now, if you're into yapping:smartass: here's a sample of what it sounds like during training Case III recoveries:https://youtu.be/rDrVkbYlsLM
