Can't install oculus software: OVRLibrarian.exe exited with code 8

Hello all.

I had installed Oculus in windows 7 without problems.

Recently i installed windows 10 on my computer, and now everytime i try to install the oculus software i get the restart computer error.

In the OculusSetup log i got:

[Error] [22/06/2018 20:30:41] Process C:\Program Files (x86)\Oculus\Support\oculus-librarian\OVRLibrarian.exe exited with code 8.

 

Please can someone help me to solve this problem?

Well technically it should have installed in C:\Program Files\Oculus but not sure that would have made any difference. You also can choose to install it wherever.

 

 

You might be best off asking over on the Oculus forums or opening a support ticket with them on it. It certainly should have installed fine on Windows 10.
