norwegianwiking Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 I've been using the autopilot whenever I have a waypoint to orbit, but it seems to Mirage only lets you hold up to 15 degrees bank? This gives me a massive turning radius and looking at it in Tacview afterwards I'm clearly getting uncomfortably close to other flights. Is there some way of getting the AP to hold a more agressive turn, or do i just need to fly manually?
baltic_dragon Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 IIRC the limits are much higher, it is listed in the manual. Make sure to enter the required bank and then turn the attitude and altitude hold switches. And keep an eye on that fuel consumption :) For more information, please visit my website. If I'm correct, you are describing how to use autopilot and remain at altitude easily whole also turning so that we can orbit effectively? Please advise. TY don't know where to look.
feefifofum Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 Begin a level turn. Turn on autopilot master/attitude hold (leftmost button) , turn on altitude hold (second button from left.) The plane will remain in a level turn up to ~40 degrees of bank if memory serves. THE GEORGIAN WAR - OFFICIAL F-15C DLC
