DCS 2.5.2 Mission Freezes - HELP!

Not sure why this is happening...I created a mission...used to work; now freezes upon start. Other missions work fine.

Will someone please help?!

you have a modified build I would recommend removing all unofficial modifications and running a cleanup and repair

Quick follow-up

 

Silly question, I know...but how do I know if it's an unauthorized mod? I only 'pull' files from the DCS website.

If it is a user modification it is not official ED, usually taken from the user mods section or the forum.

 

Only modules / files updated using the DCS updater are official

Interesting. I've removed some mods....and when I start the mission I created I can use the keys for abut 2 seconds...then it freezes.

Still going through and removing any mods from previous 24 hours. Wonder if easier / better to re-install DCS World?

It maybe worth creating a fresh saved games DCS folder

 

example C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\DCS

 

rename it C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\DCSbackup

 

run a cleanup and repair

 

restart DCS and test

 

if this does not help do a fresh install
