Cold start trim

I noticed when I cold start on the ground it takes forever to move the trim to 16 from 12(50 seconds), but in a hot start mission the trim moves quickly to 16 from 12(3-4 seconds). What am I missing in my cold starts?

Flaps. If flaps are up you probably should be leaving trim alone (hence the slow movement.) When flaps are down/half the FCS is open to input for trim and should adjust quickly.

Flaps setting I would say. You leave them up (auto) for your BIT test. After that, move them to half and you can adjust your take-off trim (weight dependent - 16', 17', etc..) and they move fast. Take off, then back to auto :)
