I know it is a different aircraft but look at the video at 16:57, 17:41 and at 18:23. It looks like the Pilot is constantly taping the trim button on the cyclic stick.

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.

Yup, tap and go is the right way.

It Feels natural to me in all the DCS choppers!

But less so in the KA-50.

It's a much smoother style, at least when I do it for my own esperience, the more I click with less travel, the smoother the flight appears.

If I only trim large portions the thing just gets rougher, not that I care apart from that I think in RL the pilot does care, for his own sake and back bone/spire(?).

I think it is even more pronounced with the Mi-8. She is much more diva like and if you touch the edge of the envelope you get instant wild feedback. So there imho it pays to trim clack clack clack clack when you change attitude.

In VR it is more visible as it delivers more feedback to the brain, for my perception.
