I just booted back in xp....installed the starforce libraries...and started up the exe...it checked the CD...passed and lomac started....but it crashed saying missing C++ libraries. :p .. I guess I am now uninstalling lomac from vista...then to reinstall back in xp. ED...comeon...this is such a chore....please make BS a FULL DVD release...a one time install incl lomac + FC + BS. Anyways thanks for offering help iguanaking. I guess it was just stupid MS's new piece of "pretty" crap. :p .. hitman Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 Well I heard horror stories about installing xp on a machine with vista, vista will actually eat the bootsector of xp and vice versa. The cd deal seems familiar to me...dont ask how but really hasnt given me much crap at all. This disk didnt happen to be a downloaded install? Vista has its own way of writing its disks, formats dont really look correct on previous versions of windows. I found that out a few days ago trying to install some downloaded mods onto a friends computer. DCS Wishlist: 1) FIX THE DAMN RIVERS!!! 2) Spherical or cylindrical panorama view projection. 3) Enhanced input options (action upon button release, etc). 4) Aircraft flight parameter dump upon exit (stick posn, attitude, rates, accel, control volume, control-surface positions, SAS bias, etc). 5) ADS-33 maneuver courses as static objects. 6) Exposed API or exports of trim position and stick force for custom controllers. 7) Select auto multiple audio devices

Witchking Posted April 28, 2007 Author Posted April 28, 2007 FInally got it working fine in XP. I got to say the F-15 is a beautiful bird thanks to walmis. :) BUT:: THERE IS A BUG!! The feul tank and missiles are kinda howering in the air...they are NOT attached to the pylons. Open the very first shot at the bottom. Notice the fuel tank and the missiles. 1920 x 1200 High res goodness!
