Helios not communicating with DCS 2.5 OB

Hi there,

I tried everything, but DCS and Helios are not communicating ; when I press buttons in my Helios cockpit, nothing happens in DCS, and the Helios instruments are not getting updated with the game data.

This is for the F18, using the excellent Capt Zeen profile and export.lua.

I reinstalled Helios, tried using only the Capt export.lua file (no other exports), reset all my config (deleted my Saved Games DCS folder).

Nothing useful appears in the logs.

 

Does anyone have an idea ? Something to try ? A mean to get more details about what happens (e.g. logs) ?

How many monitors are you using?

The only way I found to get it to work is to redo your Helios profile after a reinstall. It worked after that it ...for me anyway

@Capt Zeen : I've got 3 monitors ; although my problem is IMHO not linked to displaying the information but communication between Helios and DCS.

 

@jamesb : I've completely reinstalled Helios and reset my DCS config. Were you talking about a full DCS reinstall ?

Check the faq on my site. There is a problem with helios when usin 3 or more monitor. There you got the solution and how you need to fix it.
