LeCuvier Posted July 11, 2018 Posted July 11, 2018 About setting the radio channel frequencies, the Early Access Guide states: "Preset frequencies are set in the Mission Editor". I have searched for that option in ME, but with no luck. Can somebody please tell me how to do this? Habu_69 Posted July 11, 2018 Posted July 11, 2018 In ME select the player/client aircraft. Select the right-most tab in the aircraft's parameters panel then enter the desired freq for each of the 20 channels. If you wish to use a standard set of frequencies you can do the above action once, then copy them from the mission .miz file. Search for "channels".
LeCuvier Posted July 11, 2018 Author Posted July 11, 2018 Funny I didn't see that, thanks! I found that 19 Caucasus airbases are covered by the default channel frequencies. Only needed to modify 2 COMM 2 to cover the two remaining airports. I collected runways, frequencies and channels (COMM, VOR, TACA, ILS) in the attached Excel file.Caucasus Airbases-Channels.zip LeCuvier Windows 10 Pro 64Bit | i7-4790 CPU |16 GB RAM|SSD System Disk|SSD Gaming Disk| MSI GTX-1080 Gaming 8 GB| Acer XB270HU | TM Warthog HOTAS | VKB Gladiator Pro | MongoosT-50 | MFG Crosswind Pedals | TrackIR 5
LeCuvier Posted July 13, 2018 Author Posted July 13, 2018 Now I understand why I hadn't seen the button with the antenna icon on it: I had not set my Hornet's pilot skill level to "Player". So at that point in time my plane was AI-piloted and presetting radio channels made no sense.
