Rhino104 Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 I am having an issue where after about a half hour to an hour of MULTIPLAYER game play, my dad's box will simply restart without warning. It is not an overheating issue, due to the fact that we have the side of the case open with a huge fan blowing on everything. Not a power supply issue as we have tested the pin-out voltages and they don't deviate more than .02 volts. He can also fly any other sim or even lockon non multiplayer without an issue! Any ideas? :helpsmilie: Specs for his box: P4 3.2 GHz, 2 GB PC2 5300 Kingston Ram, Nvidia 7300 GS, Coolmax 450W PSU, Dell XPS 400 Mobo Other thing is, the bios isn't a true bios, to where we cant go in to see if the voltages are correct for the ram or FSB Bus.
Roi Danton Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 OMG, a Dell mainboard without BIOS settings. When this also happens if he download and upload something for this critical hour then you can throw out the network controller. Also test other games in multiplayer for this period of time. 1
Kuky Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 I'm thinking on the same line as Roi Danton... somethin to do with your modem/network controler (which ever way you're connected to the internet). If this was a LockOn issue the system would reboot regardless of playing online or offline.
