Trackir unplugged

Hi,

 

For the last couple of days I have been getting the message “trackir unplugged” then shortly afterwards “trackir plugged”. This always comes with a huge freeze, one bad enough to crash my game in multiplayer.

 

Here’s the kicker... I don’t have trackir!! All my DCS time is done in the Rift and has been for over a year! I don’t even have trackir software installed.

 

So far I have carried out a clean and repair, I have deleted my saved games folder, cleaned the registry and went through the power management options for my USB devices.. My DCS install (open beta) is on its own SSD and, as far as I am aware, nothing has been changed on my PC.

 

Any ideas/help greatly appreciated

Wild-ass-guess . The 'puter may be losing the head-tracker signal from your Rift ? As i understand it , the rift has two connectors . Could it be you have a usb problem ? Try another port or use a powered usb ?
