How to get F6 weapons view working in a custom mission?

How do I get F6 Weapons view to work in a custom mission that I have created? When I press F6 after I've dropped a bomb or fired a missile, it wont let me see the weapons view.

External view is probably disabled in the mission settings. Or can you view yours/other aircraft from F2?

If nothing has the "ENFORCE" box checked, it should follow your own game options.
