Best Fonts for skin mods??

Probably a dumb question but here goes anyway. Are there some best fonts to use when modding a skin? I am mainly concerned with the pilot's name on either side of the cockpit. And any other fonts that are considered best for modding an aircraft skin.

Not an easy question to answer...depends on the country, aircraft, squadron, and even a particular aircraft and pilots name. The best thing to do is look at pictures and try to find a font that comes close. Sometimes even that doesn't work and you have to try to replicate it by hand in photoshop.

Yep I agree with USSInchon, the best way if you dont have access to a font is good ol Mark 1 Eyeball, I have spent many a wasted hour looking at font sites to find them, also look at the many moddelling and Aircraft sites for links etc.

Thanks for the input. I should be able to give it a go now with more confidence and less wasted time now. :) I think it would be great if we could change the pilots name in the software or mission editor. Or better yet, if the other players didn't have to download and install my skin on their pc to see me flying in my skin. :P
