F-15C wrong color on shoot lights?

In DCS they used to be red and now they have some sort of yellow/orange color.

 

But on a video from the Smithsonian they are clearly red.

 

Just trying to figure out why it was changed to the way we have in sim now... :huh:

These lights are amber, not red.

Yep, manual describes the lights as amber (http://www.coloredfilms.com/images/4%20-%20Amber%20Colored%20Window%20Film%20Spec%20Sheet.jpg), not red.

Depending on the white balance selected on the camera used to record above Youtube video the color may appear to be red even tho it´s actually amber.
