sharkfin61 Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 Need some advice. I just received a pair of used CH Pro rudder pedals. I know, they run on wheels inside the housing but, is there a benefit in cleaning and re-greasing the portion of the housing, where the wheels run on? Loads do it on the fly! Svsmokey Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 Dust will accumulate in the tracks , which can be felt through the pedals eventually . It does not effect the operation of the unit though . As for grease , I never have . If it gets to the tracks it could exacerbate the roughness by allowing the dust to clump instead of disperse . The rollers are held in place by finely polished metal pins , and if I were to grease , it would be there . I personally don't . 9700k @ stock , Aorus Pro Z390 wifi , 32gb 3200 mhz CL16 , 1tb EVO 970 , MSI RX 6800XT Gaming X TRIO , Seasonic Prime 850w Gold , Coolermaster H500m , Noctua NH-D15S , CH Pro throttle and T50CM2/WarBrD base on Foxxmounts , CH pedals , Reverb G2v2
Sokol1_br Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 Don't put grease in pedal rails, it's only facilitate dust glue there. Just clean this parts, e.g. wash with rubbing alcohol. If find necessary use small amount of - safety for plastic, grease in steel rollers axis pivots only.
