Logged on to the SoW server over the weekend and every time had this graphic anomaly with the sea:

Can't replicate it offline, and tried two other servers at random running Caucasus and they're sea is fine. Tried a deletion of my Metashaders but no-joy, same anomaly when I re-join SoW.

I saw this once many months back on the Normandy map when online in Steel Balls server but haven't played there for some time and figured it was perhaps a Normandy/Metashaders issue and as I never saw it anywhere else, kinda forgot about it.

Any one else getting this? Any ideas as to why?

delete Metashader2 and FXO folder and try again, could be it, and it wont harm if you delete those.

Do that after every update of DCS and GPU driver, helps to avoid anomalies and keeps it speedy.

Hi BitMaster, tanks for the tip, alas, although FXO and Metashader2 both deleted I got this same effect on Steel Balls server, running the Normandy map this evening.

Water detail was set to Medium. Attempted it on High to see if any change; effect is negligible in short to mid-range views of water, the view on the horizon however is the same, with these heavily pixelated white artifacts.

Go to RAF662 server, Normandy map, without reloading the game and - nothing wrong! All beautiful sea textures out to the horizon.

Most peculiar!
