TexasWarbird Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 (edited) Will DCS take advantage of the faster read/write rates? I have DCS installed on 1 SSD right now. Wondering if I should go raid 0 and could expect smoother map performance. Just hoping it's worth the hassle to set-up. BitMaster Posted October 6, 2018 Posted October 6, 2018 You dont want to force a 120GB and a 250GB SSD into one Raid-0 Array. If you do that you will loose 130GB storage volume on the 250GB drive. Both will appear ( all drives will always ) appear as large as the SMALLEST one in the array. 1x1 in raid, read it up before you deploy it Gigabyte Aorus X570S Master - Ryzen 5900X - Gskill 64GB 3200/CL14@3600/CL14 - Sapphire Nitro+ 7800XT - 4x Samsung 980Pro 1TB - 1x Samsung 870 Evo 1TB - 1x SanDisc 120GB SSD - Heatkiller IV - MoRa3-360LT@9x120mm Noctua F12 - Corsair AXi-1200 - TiR5-Pro - Warthog Hotas - Saitek Combat Pedals - Asus XG27ACG QHD 180Hz - Corsair K70 RGB Pro - Win11 Pro/Linux - Phanteks Evolv-X
