Trigger to self in ME.

Is there a way to set a trigger that applies only to the player or "self". Or a way to make it act this way? I would like some audio files and or messages to be shown/heard just for the player activating the trigger. Its for a multiplayer mission. If it does not exist yet, i would like to ask if this can be implemented. It would be a lot easier to do some stuff for MP missions.

That can be done already in a round about kind of way... You need to create an individual trigger for each potential aircraft group that could trigger it and have one single client in each group, then add an action “sound to group” for that client group.

 

Clone for each group and you’re good to go.

I think what's needed here is a trigger condition where we can test a group to determine if it's a client.

 

So you could test for a group, or coalition in a zone, and have a second condition that a client is in a zone.

 

Another one that would be great is a type trigger. Let's call it "OF TYPE" So helicopters can be distinguished from planes, from ground units.
