VladMordock Posted October 6, 2018 Posted October 6, 2018 While preparing the MP missions for ca. 20 people flying different modules I find it hard to optimally plan the flights, as optimum cruise speeds are unknown for most of the models. I would assume 25kft flight altitude and "most common AA config" for the fighters as the benchmark config, did anyone try to collect all the models data already ? What source of data do you use during mission preparation with most popular models ? Zapraszam na Gildia.org - polska społeczność DCS.
MasterZelgadis Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 Are they starting the mission in flight? Otherwise don't bother the parameters, let each flight set their parameters during briefing theirselves. "Sieh nur, wie majestätisch du durch die Luft segelst. Wie ein Adler. Ein fetter Adler." http://www.space-view.net
VladMordock Posted October 8, 2018 Author Posted October 8, 2018 No, 99% mission starts are cold and dark. We do briefings. The issue is thats it's hard to create mission milestones/initial sync. without knowing the possible model limitations (speed vs range). It would be good to have all this collected in one place. I've started already at https://forum.gildia.org/viewtopic.php?f=77&t=566 (don't bother with the language, the table shall speak for itself), but I'm still counting on input from others. :smilewink: Zapraszam na Gildia.org - polska społeczność DCS.
