yellow on mapview

is there a way to change the yellow writing on the moving map on the mfcd?

I just cant see it :)

no, on the hud for example is green, see pic attached, but the map view is yellow, you can hardly read certain menus and options when on different parts of the map or lighting, if I could say change a file somewhere just to add a colour better for me at least to see?

guys, look, I know this is probably not on anyone's priority list, but for me....and my eyes I can hardly see the yellow writing, especially when over certain areas of the map.

if someone could just point me to a possible file with colour settings then I could change them myself.... or may be a mod :)

Can't test atm, but look here at the bottom of the script:

 

DCS World\Mods\aircraft\AV8BNA\Cockpit\MPCD\indicator\MPCD_init.lua

 

or maybe more likely the MPCD_definitions.lua.

Made time to test it lol, cause it's bugged me too. Those are the two lua you need to adjust.

 

In MPCD_definitions.lua, change lines 58-73 as desired. I think you only need line 70 changed unless you want your maverick symbology to match and then you need 59 as well.

In MPCD_init.lua, change lines 354-355 as desired.

 

I find {255, 30, 30, 255} to be a not too harsh red color that's pleasing. (RGBA)

 

This will probably fail the integrity check on multiplayer servers, so I'd recommend installing it via JGSME/OVGME so you can turn it on/off quickly. And of course, backup the files!

ha, glad it wasn't just me, thanks very much for your help, just ran a few lines and could see it was on the right track n lua, ill try your settings later, don't play MP so no prob.
