Grub Posted June 6, 2007 Author Posted June 6, 2007 LOL well that just make's thing very hard for mission builders don't it :( btw LOVE your movies for BS GREAT mate keep up the good work :)
thesystem Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 Yeah it is sometimes handy when it was possible. Like when you build a roadblock you must exactly know where you ust put the tank and so on.... DCS World, A10C, AV8B, M2k, FA18C, FC3, MIG21
SuperKungFu Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 Then use the encyclopedia that’s on the top of the mission editor to get an idea what the objects look like in 3D. It’s the one that looks like a book. Once you get an idea, just close it and you will be back in your mission editor. 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
HavokFlight Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 3d placement ? The old Janes Fighter Antholoty and ATF Gold had a great tool in their mission editor. You could examine an object that you placed in 3d mode and rotate it or move it and then jump back into the mission editor. I am not reminissing about ATF ... though I do miss my friends that played that ... just that one feature we could really use here. :joystick: Mechanical engineers design weapons ... civil engineers design targets.
