Hi all :thumbup:

 

i got a prob i can't see objects in 3D in the mission editor how do i do this it's a real pain 4 setting up static objects i just can't ever get them to face the right way. and i do use the heading thingy

LOL well that just make's thing very hard for mission builders don't it :(

Yeah it is sometimes handy when it was possible. Like when you build a roadblock you must exactly know where you ust put the tank and so on....

Then use the encyclopedia that’s on the top of the mission editor to get an idea what the objects look like in 3D. It’s the one that looks like a book. Once you get an idea, just close it and you will be back in your mission editor.

3d placement ?

 

The old Janes Fighter Antholoty and ATF Gold had a great tool in their mission editor. You could examine an object that you placed in 3d mode and rotate it or move it and then jump back into the mission editor. I am not reminissing about ATF ... though I do miss my friends that played that ... just that one feature we could really use here. :joystick:
