custom graphic presets?

hi, is there a way to overwrite the graphic presets?

 

I usually play VR, but sometimes I'm not in the mood for setting up all the VR stuff, just want a quick play, so I jump into good old tv playing, but I have to manually adjust the graphic settings all over again, and then again when I'm back in VR.

 

is there a way to overwrite the default settings for "high" and "VR" for example?

I just use two options.lua's, in my ..\Users\Username\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config folder.

So I have a options-m.lua and options-v.lua, and if I want to us VR, I rename options-v.lua to options.lua.

but just making sure, isn't there a way to edit the presets existing in game? would be a little easier if you want to change settings on the fly

I dont know. Had a quick sniff around some lua's, but didnt manage to find any presets.

Skatezilla's GUI updater utility does this.

You simply select a preset, launch DCS, configure as desired, then close DCS. It simply saves the current settings as selected preset when DCS closes.
