fargo007 Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 It seems sling loads can neither be spawned, nor deposited upon the deck of a ship. If you drop one there it just slides off the back and floats in the ocean. Kinda funny actually. With CTLD I can spawn a crate on a nonmoving ship, but it won't be F6-sling-loadable. Just wondering if anyone's worked a creative solution out for this. Thanks! Have fun. Don't suck. Kill bad guys. https://discord.gg/blacksharkden/
Furia Posted October 26, 2018 Posted October 26, 2018 I would be also very interested on this one if anyone can provide some solution. Thanks [sIGPIC]http://menorca.infotelecom.es/~raulurbina/ESA/banner_furia.png[/sIGPIC]

Eight Ball Posted November 9, 2018 Posted November 9, 2018 On the PG map you can place cargo objects on the static ships (the big ones, spawned with the map itself). IIRC you could also place cargos on non moving ships (wheter they were units or static object) Find The Links To All My Mods And Liveries Here (in the gallery)
fargo007 Posted November 18, 2018 Author Posted November 18, 2018 I "sort of" have this working. You're right, the crates from the static ships in PG work great. As far as from allied ships, I came up with this: in CTLD: ctld.slingLoad = true ctld.spawnCrateAtZone("blue", 801, "cargo1") With the zone defined on the deck of the Tarawa. I tried this with ship groups that were dead still. Picking it up is orders of magnitude harder than on the ground. The hook flails around wildly. A couple times, what I believe occurred was that when I hooked it, the crate then fell through the deck, pulling the huey down sharply. I recovered from it, but it could easily have killed me. This does not seem to happen from the stennis. Have fun. Don't suck. Kill bad guys. https://discord.gg/blacksharkden/
