Bingo it works!!

This is what I got to try:

Very easy. Got the new C-Hub today, install was very easy.

Plugged into my Virtual Link C-Port on my new RTX 2080 Ti.

Got the new device notification sound.

Device shows as Nvidia USB 3.10 eXtensible Host Controller

Nvidia USB Type-C Port Policy Controller.

I have three USB 3.1 ports on this thing.

Plugged my two sensors in.

Plugged my Rift USB in.

Sensors and Rift USB recognized just fine, and all three showing in Oculus Home as solid green. Playing around in Oculus Home tracking appears to be great. Won't have time for any serious gaming until tomorrow sometime, but looking great!

Not going to mess with plugging the HDMI in at this time, that port on the hub is only rated at 60 Hz at 1080, so figure that probably would not be the best with the Rift being a 90Hz device. Plus my Rift HDMI is plugged into the HDMI of my GPU and running just fine there.

But the sensors and the headset USB, so far sweetness!.

So I decided what the heck might as well try the Rift's HDMI.

So I powered down system and plugged the Rift HDMI into the Virtual Link Port also.

Booted up the PC, put Rift on, and I have display!

Did a brief test, all seemed to perform and look just fine. FPS fluctuated between 45-90 fps just as it usually does. Will be spending more time testing with it over the next few days, but from what I can tell it will work no problem. Could not really see any difference in quality of video, or any difference in fps, but again want some more time with it to be sure.

So now my entire Rift package ( HDMI, two USB 3 sensors, and Headset USB 3) are all plugged into that new Virtual Link C-Port on my EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3. Nice, neat, and compact.

Pretty dang cool...

So the hub is plugged straight into the video card, and you can run the whole rift off the hub.

That’s pretty cool, thx for posting. Just need a 2080Ti now.

Yep, everything right into the hub which plugs into that Virtual Link C-Port.

I "think" all 20X series cards have the new C-Port.

Would just need to check the specs of the particular 20x card to be sure.

I just freed up three USB 3 ports and the HDMI port on my GPU.
