nscode Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 A display team has recently been formed here in Serbia called Stars. All members were formerly a part of the Flying stars team (who's Galeb G-4 planes were destroyed by NATO in 99). They are flying 4 privately owned Galeb G-2 jets from a grass sports airfield Čenej near Novi Sad. The best thing is, they often have solo performances above the city :) (no.. not above buildings.. they stay above the river ;) ) more to come..:pilotfly: 1 Never forget that World War III was not Cold for most of us.
RvETito Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 Good to hear that. I've been a witness of a great show of the former Flying stars team back in 1997 at their first and last visit to Bulgaria. They participated in the 1st Bulgarian International Air Festival and really were the *star* of the show. Salute! "See, to me that's a stupid instrument. It tells what your angle of attack is. If you don't know you shouldn't be flying." - Chuck Yeager, from the back seat of F-15D at age 89. =RvE=
4c Hajduk Veljko Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 It is so nice to see Serbian airplanes in the air again. I wonder how’s that private enterprise financed. Do they accept contributions? Do they have a web site? BTW, see what else G-4 can do!!!!
