What features of JHMCS can we expect to see in the future?

Eventually you'll be able to set "mark points" by looking at the ground and pressing a button. Now, it typically won't be accurate enough to use that point to employee a weapon - it does set you up nicely to slew other sensors to that location to get a precise location of the threat.

 

Imagine a SAM launch as you were flying by you would be able to quickly set a MK and extend out for an attack run.

Would be great, if the ground mapping radar could be overlayed. Similar to the FLIR overlay of the HUD in the Harrier. Would be awesome at night, right?

 

Is that a possibility?

Radar designations (two TD boxes. one for L&S and one for DT2)

Ground designations (from radar, ATLFIR or link-16)

Link-16 (friends, wingman, foes (with NCTR), tankers, ships, etc)
