Rolds Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 There are a lot of empty spaces at many airfields that I swear used to have structures, often these tent-like hangar buildings. Lantheuil is a good example, see the screenshot below. Is this what it looks like for everyone?
DD_Fenrir Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 Evidence presented by myself proved that no hangar and permanent building structures should be present at the ALGs - with one exception, the canvas hangars, 2 thereof, were present at only one of the USAAF ALGS and were primarily used for photographic film processing for a recon unit. All other shelter, accommodation was provided by tents, caravan vehicles or dugouts.
