Alphamale Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 (edited) I was just having fun interacting with FAC-A. I have a quick question: How is the lasing time limit modeled in DCS? Probably, as long as it takes for you to either launch the missile, check out, reply "Unable to comply", fly over the target, or any other way that you don't respond with a SPOT option on the JTAC menu... Ramsay Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 I was just having fun interacting with FAC-A. I have a quick question: How is the lasing time limit modelled in DCS? IIRC in DCS 1.5, JTAC lasers had a similar time out to smoke markers, so timed out after 5 minutes if the target hadn't been destroyed i.e. if I took longer than 5 min to destroy a target because my first GBU missed, I needed to call for a 2nd lase. I haven't tested in 2.5.x as with the Harrier and Hornet's spot tracking, getting LMAV's and GBU's on target hasn't been an issue.
