Razgriz Posted December 14, 2018 Posted December 14, 2018 The external position lights are way too dim and they do not illuminate the ground or the enviornment. You cannot see them even at nighttime from other aircraft in MP. The whole point of these lights is for them to be spotted by other pilots but right now they are too dim to serve that function. Compare the F/A-18 to an AI F-15 in the attached photos. The Hornet's red/green position lights don't even illuminate the ground. They are almost impossible to see even in the black of night. In addition, here's a video of just after dusk to demonstrate how broken the current exterior lights are. You can see the position/nav lights pop in at 0:15, when you should be able to seem them clearly the entire pass: https://streamable.com/etoww Real night examples of how bright the position lights are: 1.) 2.) 3.)

Ahh some people are never satisfied with what they have and always takes the negative side of the medal, take the good side, we have landing light lightning up the inside cockpit's floor at the base of the flight stick when turned on :P Teasing you :)
