KA-50 HSI, heading bug and autopilot

Hi,

 

I can't find how I could navigate using the HSI heading bug like in regular autopilot systems. In the KA, heading hold is set by the trimmer but I would like to manually use the heading bug knob to steer the KA. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Just curios, have you ever used the helmet system to fly the bird? Just look where you want to go and push a button.

For future explorers: The Ka-50 cannot have its autopilot set in a way that follows the HSI heading bug. It can maintain a heading captured by trim or it may navigate to a stored point.
