How much further can we fire Mavs with new update?

Almost anything for the H models is better than the <5nm range they've suffered through for the last few versions...

Just did a test in free flight and at 16000+ got a lock on building at 11 miles with d model.

65Ds able to lock and hit target:

 

200kts @ 20k ft AGL - 12.5nm

300kts @ 11k ft AGL - 9.9nm

I actually got an H to lock at about 7nm and it was on a fairly low contrast target (white shipping container on a conventional range circle) at about 9500’ msl.

 

It might lock even sooner on a more contrasty target like a tank on open desert.
