San Javier Airbase is the home of spanish C-101 "Culopollo". Now that the plane at last has EFM and the armed version, it could be great if AVIODEV makes a mod for that airbase placed somewhere in Crimea, for example.

That way, we could practice procedures like in FSX or X-Plane with real-life charts, like real-life pilots of the Ejército del Aire (Spanish Air Force). :pilotfly:

Just two airstrips 05-23 like the ones of San Javier with the same length, a couple of generic buildings and the proper navaids could do the trick.

It could be a great way to thank the patience of the people who brought this plane and supported AVIODEV four long years ago. :music_whistling:

3rd parties has not access to the ED Caucasus map files (only available to the ED map team) and Crimea was lock by ED in the past by Caucasus size and object count limitations to maintain the minimum requirements to work the DCS Free version (and we suspicious with the delicate Crimean situation in the actual Russian / Ucrania conflict).

Aviodev can only make a "airbase" if ED get them the Map SDK tools, build a "map team" (3D modelers, texturizers and coders outside of the C-101 and other module projects) and start a Spanish map or part of them (that can required planning, team building, etc).

DCS World map system has a quite different build map system to other simulators in the market. For now, only RAZBAM (Falklands / Malvinas Map) and Ugra Media (They makes the Normandy 1944 map and work on Syria map), other as Magnitude 3 has planned a "Iwo Jima" WW2 Pacific map.
