Mover Posted December 29, 2018 Author Posted December 29, 2018 I would love to see these guys with better setups. Joystick on the right like an F-16...............really? They have no idea how to do basic stuff etc.....man give them half an hour to get the basics. They maybe fighter pilots but they don't know your rig....man oh man! I'm a Viper guy. It didn't make much of a difference. As for the other stuff, I went through with bananimal before the flight and mapped the controls. I know Gonky struggled a little (as I did the first time), but there wasn't much I didn't know how to do.

I know what your saying but watching those videos it would be great to see guys like that just doing your stuff in that environment without any "wheres the button for this?" Just want to see the purity if that makes sense? Please don't get me wrong this is gold and I love it. It's so fantastic. Edited December 29, 2018 by Mule Fighter Pilot Podcast.

Just want to see the purity if that makes sense? You're either going to have to find guys that want to invest the money to run this game on their own equipment and spend the time practicing the new configuration (because you're going to have to map buttons for things that actually happen in the cockpit), or hook up a real Hornet sim to a DCS server. Even then, I'm sure it wouldn't satisfy a lot of people. The "purity" for a fighter pilot is real life. At the end of the day, DCS is as real as you can get for an off-the-shelf product, but it's still just a game. Enjoy the video for what it is.
