that would be amazing, if (speed)trees could be implemented for building missions. to cover airbases, buildings, populate areas. . . and so on. . .

I'm looking for a full blown editor where we can put in our own 3D objects, trees, etc. I would also like to be able to morph the map terrain itself, as it's kind of straight and bland, but I know that's reaching.

It would be great to see more environmental assets in DCS, not just trees and bushes but also mounds, revetments maybe rocks etc.

 

For me I'd preferably like to see more assets that go into making FOBs & FARPs, essentially similar assets to what ArmA 3 has in it's editor (HESCO & Bremer walls, fences, barricades etc... I could go on forever).

 

I don't think physically altering the terrain of maps is going to come anytime soon and that's putting it mildly. Though 3D cratering would be a great feature - but again it would come with very large development costs and would require an engine overhaul.
