Freeze, unfreeze?

I'm experiencing the weirdest thing. I'm playing the "Old Girl" mission in the Spring Tension campaign for the mi8 and all of a sudden it freezes. I usually wait for it to crash so I can submit a crash report that way, but after 3-5 minutes it unfreezes, plays normally for 5-10 seconds before freezing up again for 3-5 minutes. Then unfreezes and continues that way for an unexplained reason. Anyone else experiencing this?

I have something similar...but the freeze is only for 2-3 seconds and then it works for 10-ish minutes just fine...this come up only after the last update...
