tebsu Posted December 25, 2018 Posted December 25, 2018 (edited) Hi, i got DCS World Steam Edition up and running, but my Nevada wont work of course. It was purchased from the ED Webshop and runs only with the standalone version. My Lenovo Explorer however doesnt. When i start the standalone version, i only see a 2D window on that windows reality portal crap. Anyone got those glasses running correctly with the Lenovo Explorer and the standalone version? tebsu Posted December 26, 2018 Author Posted December 26, 2018 found out that it works. It was my mistake.. is it however possible to not mirror the output on my main screen? I was wondering if this takes away performance.

I was wondering if this takes away performance. It's a mirror of your left eye. So no hit on performance (it's not rendering it yet again). And no, you can't turn it off. hsb HW Spec in Spoiler --- i7-10700K Direct-To-Die/OC'ed to 5.1GHz, MSI Z490 MB, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz, EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3, NVMe+SSD, Win 10 x64 Pro, MFG, Warthog, TM MFDs, Komodo Huey set, Rverbe G1

It only effects what's shown on the monitor and above a certain resolution could effect performance. I keep mine on the lowest setting. The Pixel Density setting in the VR settings effects supersampling resolution in the headset. There's also a supersampling option in steamVR. You want to use one or the other not both. 1.0 Pixel density is native res, in steamvr 100% supersampling should = default res. Steam by default sets a supesrsampling value based on your hardware if you don't go set things up manually, which I recommend you do, if you didn't know to already :) It can be a little more generous than hardware can afford on auto settings, and you can set supersampling per application for titles that don't have their own vr pixel density settings.
