The BLG 66 is used by Razbams M-2000K and now by Aviojets C-101cc.

Browsing through the .LUA files, I saw that the weapon is now defined two times, independently from eachother. This is ... suboptimal?

I.e. the way the submunitions is dispensed differs from the "usual" US CBUs and therefore require some special coding (I suppose). This would have to be done twice - and that in a way that the end results do not differ (i.e. BLG should behave exactly the same, no mater what aircraft it was dropped from).

Therefore I kindly ask Razbam and AvioDev - and perhaps ED - to find a proper solution. For example, making the BLG 66 a standard DCS weapon that is used by both modules.

While doing some weapons modding I also noticed this, in fact it appears both weapons are the same weapon but independently introduced with each module and declared as a new weapon. What's really interesting is the substantial size difference between the two weapons. I'm sure weapon scaling can be tricky without measurements, but unless these two weapons are simulating different versions of the BLG 66 it seems one or the other is a bit off.

This can be observed by placing a non controlled 101 and M2000 next to each other on the ramp with BLGs loaded

Another place this will affect is the warehouse functionality on airbases, which determines what weapons are available, and in what numbers.

I notice that though I can load BLG66 on center and inner pylons, I can only get the inner pylons to release. And yes I am aware of all the various weapon arming procedures. Is this a bug? Can anyone get four BLg66 belougas to release ? Of should I stick with two? Thanks.

I believe the correct functionality is that you can select all 4 stations but only drop 2 at a time. This isn't currently working at the moment. The devs have acknowledged it. But when it is working, you should be able to drop all 4 in 2 quick button presses.
