Thumper152 Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 Hey guys, sorry if this has already been answered somewhere but I can't seem to figure out weapons delivery using mixed ordinance, like having FAB-250s on the outboard stations and rocket pods on the inboard. When I make my bomb delivery it drops the rocket pods as well. I have double checked all my switchology and everything thing seems right. I assumed the the 21 is capable of supporting mixed loads as they have them pre-loaded in the mission editor. Is this not the case?
Frederf Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 The weapon selector has bombing choices for 1-2, 3-4, and 1-4. For bombs on 3-4 and rockets on 1-2 it should be a simple matter of switching the firing-bombing switch on the sight to bombing and choosing the 3-4 on the weapon selector dial.
Thumper152 Posted December 28, 2018 Author Posted December 28, 2018 Roger that, It was probably an error on my part as I went back in to mess around with it a bit more and I got it to release the proper ordinance as advertised, meaning not dropping the rocket pods when delivering bombs. For the life of me I don't know what I was doing wrong in the first place as I followed the same procedures the second time around and it worked properly.
