adrianstealth Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 Hi all Loving the P-51 , using sim tools for motion & sim-shaker for vibration units However no motion with the spitfire I’d also like to buy more aircrafts but fear they’ll not work either Does anyone know why ?
toutenglisse Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 I think you should ask to this guy you already talked to, he must be the one that can help : https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3732579&postcount=1608
adrianstealth Posted December 30, 2018 Author Posted December 30, 2018 Cheers but he knew about sim shaker -which I understand does now work with the spitfire It’s motion using sim tools that’s I’m interested in Simtools ( apparently ) doesn’t care which aircraft being used So I’m thinking somehow the spitfire is outputting telemetry differently to the P-51 or not at all The p51 works flawlessly
adrianstealth Posted December 31, 2018 Author Posted December 31, 2018 Apparently Simtools dev’s have confirmed that Simtools is not aircraft specific Apparently the spitfire must be coded differently or something like that ??? Is it possible the devs could make it output like the p51 ???
gianlu320 Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 Last time i tried the spitfire with my motion platform it was working perfectly and that was with dcs 2.5.3 before the update I haven't used the spitfire after the 2.5.4 so i don't know now But before the update i can confirm you it was working. I can't check it now, i'm away for work

gianlu320 Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 Hello adrianstealth Yes I use simtools, my motion rig is a fasetech racingcube and with dcs 2.5.3 just before the 2.5.4 update the spit was working perfectly I haven't tried it with 2.5.4 What I tried with the 2.5.4 and it doesn't work is the C101, do you have that module?
adrianstealth Posted January 1, 2019 Author Posted January 1, 2019 No I don’t have C101 I would just like the spitfire to work as I don’t use without motion & I purchased the spitfire to usethinking it would just work )-:
gianlu320 Posted January 1, 2019 Posted January 1, 2019 Unfortunately I will be away till the end of January When I go home I will try the spitfire and tell you if on my system it works or not. But I guess if it's a problem introduced with 2.5.4 they will fix it. May be you can send a bug report to them, it would definitely help I guess.
adrianstealth Posted January 11, 2019 Author Posted January 11, 2019 Ok thanks Very frustrating how one plane will work but another will not I pretty much believe now that Simtools motion software is not aircraft pacific so it’s defo a DCS fault )-:
adrianstealth Posted January 17, 2019 Author Posted January 17, 2019 any news from the Dev's on this it's been a problem for a long while ......)-:
adrianstealth Posted February 13, 2019 Author Posted February 13, 2019 Updated Simtools & DCs plug in Still no joy )-: It seems that No output data feed from spitfire is the problem
BrassEm Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 Have you checked your log files for errors? What does your export.lua look like? www.brass-em.com
adrianstealth Posted February 14, 2019 Author Posted February 14, 2019 Hiya Brassem Sorry to sound dense but how do I do this ??????
BrassEm Posted February 15, 2019 Posted February 15, 2019 You will find the dcs.log file in "C:\Users\<USER>\Saved Games\DCS\Logs\dcs.log" Are there any errors listed in this file? It is recreated every time you run dcs. www.brass-em.com
